It’s difficult to summarise three years at the Forth Rivers Trust in a single blog post, especially when it’s the Friday afternoon of your last week and the lure of a cold, frothy pint of ale at the neighbouring pub is unusually persistent.
So, I have compiled a wee photo gallery which marks some of the highlights. This includes many tree planting events, bio-engineering, electrofishing surveys, fish rescues and fish pass construction to name just a few.
Working at the trust has allowed me to gain valuable qualifications and practical experience in the environmental sector. Furthermore, I have had the opportunity to meet and work with a variety of volunteers and colleagues who will remain friends for years to come.
So long FRT, and thanks for all the fish.
