About this Event
Join Alison and Aimee-leigh for a pleasant winter walk along the White Burn, exploring the local riparian nature and gathering any litter that is found along the way. We’ll stop to chat about the burn and its history as we go.
Meet at the Community centre for 11am, we’ll be meeting on the grass opposite the front door. Then heading out for the walk.
As it’s a winter walk then we suggest bringing layers, a good waterproof jacket and sturdy shoes.
The route is mainly surfaced, changing from tarmac to whin-dust. It is mainly flat with little incline in places, so should be accessible for those with some mobility impairment.
If you have any concerns about whether it is suitable for yourself or a loved one then please feel free to contact to discuss in more detail, we’re happy to support you to make an informed choice about attending.
